Hi all!

I wanted to do a review of my favorite product on the market right now. Okay, so those of you who know me know that I’m obsessed with a bold lip! If I had to choose one thing to wear on a daily basis it would be a bold lipstick or gloss. Actually, maybe mascara. I don’t know. It’s a toss up. Either way, I love a bold lip. I think you get it, right?

Anyway, I tried my first NYX Liquid Suede Lip Cream about a month ago. I had gone to Ulta to kill some time and what do you know… I left with $99 worth of product including this amazing lip product. Ulta get’s me every time. But that’s a different story for another time.

The color I purchased was Vintage/Retro and it’s this amazing deep wine color. It goes on so creamy and glossy but once it dries it’s more of a matte look. Your lips literally look like suede. It’s pretty much amazing. This is the first color I took home with me.

Yeah, pretty right? Well, after I became obsessed with the formula, I decided to go back and grab another. This was right before the holidays so I knew I couldn’t splurge and buy up all the colors. I decided to choose a slightly less bold color to go with a more dramatic eye. This one is called Tea and Cookies and the name is just as precious as the light pink color. Yep, I was hooked. Check it out!

Alright so I knew I shouldn’t go back to Ulta after my past two pricey trips. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I were down to one car at the time so while I had some time to kill before picking him up from work in town you guessed it. I went back to Ulta. This time I laid eyes on the NYX Cosmic Metals Lip Cream. Uh oh. A new obsession formed, obviously. These gorgeous things come in a variety of interesting metallic colors. Teals, metal grey’s, holiday reds, and many more fun colors! I laid my eye on the Electromagnetic color and had to try it.

Of course on my way out I had to stock up on one more Liquid Suede and I chose the Stone Fox/Renarde Rusee. Yep, it’s this neat charcoal/black. Do you guys know that black lipstick is going to be super trendy this winter!? Now you do.

For those of you asking if these lip formulas are drying because of their matte look, the answer is surprisingly no. They are lip creams which makes them a bit more hydrating than other matte lipsticks.

*Best part about these NYX lip creams and the brand NYX? Super duper affordable ($7.99 at Ulta to be exact) and ANIMAL CRUELTY FREE!!!!!! Let’s all celebrate!

I dare you all to give them a try! You won’t be sorry. Snap a pic of you wearing your favorite shade and share in the comments below.
