A Guide To Finding The Perfect Wedding Dress

Step 1: Shop Around

Don’t settle, Bride-To-Be. You deserve the best of the best on your special day. I recommend shopping in at least 3 stores before you settle on the dress. Each boutique has something unique to offer. So, don’t pick the first dress you try on.

Step 2: Take Your Bridal Party With You

In order to find my dream dress, bringing my bridal posse with me was essential. After all, they know my style better than I do. They were so supportive and shared their honest opinions. Plus, it was fun to pop champagne and girl chat while trying on dresses.

Step 3: Research Different Looks And Types Of Dresses

I love Wedding Dresses Guide for inspiration! They have so many different bridal looks and dresses that go with the theme of your wedding. For example, I had a “Rustic Wedding”, and found this article from WDG very helpful to see what other brides were wearing for this theme. They have articles on everything from “Bohemian Wedding Dress Looks” to tips on shopping for your wedding dress.

Step 4: Make A Wedding Dream Board

You create a dream board for your wedding dress and all other wedding related items. I did mine on Pinterest, but you could also cut out magazine clippings and paste them to a board. This is especially fun because you can virtually create your dream wedding including your themes and colors.

You deserve to feel special and beautiful on your big day. After all, you’ve been dreaming about your big day your whole life. Your wedding dress should be perfect. Wedding dress shopping was my favorite part of wedding planning. Don’t forget to enjoy yourself and include your closest girlfriends.

Have you found your dream wedding dress yet? If you haven’t, what are you struggling with the most when it comes to finding your wedding gown?
